La Union is a municipality within the state of Nariño. This Excelso is a blend from small coffee producing families in La Union. Some of the producers in this area are: Armando Popayan, Esperanza Reyes and Fernando Belalcazar. These producers all provide smaller micro lots from their individual farms. Once the cherries are picked, they undergo a 14-16 fermentation process at the wet mill. The resulting cup profile is clean, sweet and complex.
